A plan for FLA and MI...What Obama could do...

Fri Mar 07, 2008 at 07:33:52 AM PDT

One of the points Senator Clinton's team has been trying to do, and will keep trying to do, is play the "We care more about FLA and MI than Obama...We want all voters to count."

What Obama could do is this....

Senator Obama should make this statement:

"I care deeply about the citizens of both Florida and Michigan. I want their votes counted and their voices heard. After all I firmly believe in a 50 state statagy. We need all of our great states to come together to heal the many problems thrust on us by 7 years of Bush and McCain policies."

"But, since 48 states have followed the rules, we can not count those votes or hear those voices unless there is a re-vote. Something I want and I'm sure the people want. To aid in that I have put aside 2 million dollars from my campaign funds. One million for each state. I am doing this to help and because I care deeply about the citizens of these two great states. In addition, if the states accept this and move forward with a re-vote, I will also set up a separate donation site at Obama.com and ask for people across this great country to pitch in and help get the voices and votes of Florida and Michigan to be redone and redone under the rules so that they will count."

"We have done an amazing job of fund-raising as the people of this country are showing day after day that they are ready for change. I know that we can get many more donations to help with this re-vote. I would also call on the states themselves to also help with costs and would call on Senator Clinton's camp to also help with this important endeavor"

"We can make a difference. We can work for change. We can get the support of all 50 states. We can be a country United again."
